Sōl - “The Sun”
To come up with a name for our amazing new space has been something we have put so much love and care into choosing. The word Sol means sun. Brightness, luminous, shining, powerful, beautiful, and out of this world. A star that shines the brightest. It’s so much more than the sun kissed locks we cultivate, it’s the feeling our beautiful clients get when they look in the mirror. That feeling that they can take on anything because that light they have within them, is reflecting in their new look. It’s the relationships that each stylist builds with their clients by helping feel great about themselves, inside and out. Providing our clients with a quality service and experience that helps to bring out their inner confidence by achieving their dream hair they never thought they could have. We want to inspire confidence in knowing that we care for each one of you, and it is our life’s work to find the look that makes each person feel like their best self. Excited can’t possibly cover how we feel when thinking of welcoming you all into our new space. We can’t wait to see you!

One of our greatest goals is to provide education for all hairstylists. We want everyone to thrive in their businesses and feel supported knowing there is a place to help them through the challenges of running their own business in this industry. Helping stylists create balanced lifestyles so they can be present with their clients as well as their personal lives. Having this balance prevents them from feeling burned out which would then allow them to provide better experiences for their clients. Also, keeping them engaged with their careers and inspiring stylists to seek out more education so their independent businesses can grow. In creating this peaceful environment that greets people with open arms, we will be encouraging our first love of making our clients feel like their best selves.
Changing lives by filling our clients with confidence and empowerment by making their outside appearance match the beauty that each of them have within. Another passion for us is to support local businesses by incorporating them into our salon through services, products, and events. We strive to be environmentally friendly because we love our home in Ventura and want to put the same love and care into it that we do with our amazing clients.

I’ve been to many salons in Ventura, no one has as many talented stylists in one location as Sol Hair! The blonding/balayage skills are unmatched and I have been doing extensions with Nicole for 2 years now! ! I’ve had Nicole and Taylor personally do my hair and they are both wonderful. When you walk in you’re greeted with a smile and offered a tasty beverage to enjoy during your service! I literally look forward to my coconut milk latte just as much as my hair service!

She’s incredibly meticulous, which I truly appreciate, and her ability to create such a natural, lived-in look on my hair never seizes to impress me.
